Established in 2002, Aquarius Laser Etching and Design was
launched to provide the commercial, residential, and hospitality
community a true option for the integration of art and stone. |
|
 |
| |
In
just over three years of operation, our small company tucked
away in Northern California, has been recognized nationally
for providing one of the hottest new products for the building
and design communities. We have been featured on Home &
Garden Television (HGTV) and in fine publications such as
Custom Home, Options for Today's Fine Homes, Builder, Qualified
Remodeler, Design/Build Business, Stone Business and many
others. |

| |
What
we are is a small, full service boutique company, focused
on producing specialty projects of the highest craftsmanship.
Our close knit team consists of production and graphic artists,
project management and client relations specialists, and our
very own Swiss craftsman with over 25 years of experience
in the construction industry. |
|
 |
| |
We
provide our clients the ability to take a vision and transform
it into a stunning reality for the commercial, residential
and hospitality design markets. Our goal of each job is simple;
to continually exceed the expectations of our clients. Projects
range from the simple and stunning residential entry floor
inlay to the more complex 500 sq. ft. custom stone mural for
public spaces. |

The
eldest son of Swiss immigrants, Hans Hartmann was born in
the 1950's in San Francisco, CA and raised in adjacent Marin
County. At the age of seventeen, Hans traveled to Switzerland
where he trained under some of the world's best steel fabricators.
Upon returning to the United States at age 21, Hans opened
his first business in steel fabrication in Woodland, CA. As
his business, Woodland Welding Works, grew quickly, Hans recognized
Northern California's growing need for environmentally sensitive
commercial resurfacing. By combining a new dustless bead blasting
technique with industrial sandblasting, Hans positioned his
company as a leader in Northern California and Nevada. For
the next 16 years, Hans developed his construction business
and became especially well known for his unique ability to
handle complicated, environmentally challenging jobs in the
construction world. |
|
 |
| |
It was in 2002 that Hans and his wife Tina made a bold step
into a more creative arena and purchased one of the first
commercially proven laser etching machines. Thus, Aquarius
Laser Etching and Design was born. At the forefront of this
new technology, Aquarius Laser Etching and Design continues
to work hard and set the pace for etching beautiful artwork
and design replications into various types of natural stone,
glass, wood, metal and other substrates. |

in commercial, industrial and residential building. His knowledge
combined with his honorable Swiss work ethic and precise craftsmanship
is reflected in every project Aquarius does. His character
possesses an uncanny, relentless "MacGyver" type
ability to make things work no matter what the obstacle. You
can be assured Aquarius Laser Etching and Design will be a
name you'll hear about in the Laser Etching Industry for many
years to come. |
